Eileen Erwin was born in Decatur, Georgia in 1972. She spent her early years sharing time between
Cherry Hill, NJ and Surrey, England. While living in town amongst British locals and attending British schools, Eileen gained a deep appreciation for England's rich culture in history. That led her to major in
British Literature, with a minor in Sociology, for her undergraduate degree at Miami University in Ohio.
She headed back to the East Coast after graduation and in 1997, started Massage school at
Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, D.C. Graduating in 1999 as a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist in Virginia and Maryland, she specialized in Swedish and deep tissue techniques.
Eileen's more clinical approach led her to work amongst Neuromuscular Therapists at The Teal Center for Therapeutic Bodywork in Arlington, Virginia, as well as along side a team of Physical Therapists and doctors at Advanced Pain Management in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Certified as a Chiropractic Assistant, her skills supported the chiropractors here at Henry Chiropractic & Wellness Center.
After experiencing a number of years in military life and travel with her husband; her family has now settled in St. Mary's County, where they have lived for 10 years and counting. Starting Healing Hands Therapy, LLC
in 2018, Eileen has been enjoying growing her own Massage Therapy practice. Combining both Massage and certified in Myofascial Release techniques; she feels passionate about providing her clients relief from stress and chronic pain/injury. She especially enjoys working with teens, pregnant women, athletes and retirees,
but everyone is welcome! When not working, Eileen loves painting, hiking, exploring new places/food/adventure with her husband Scott, their two children and pets.
