CHIROPRACTORS THAT CARE

Not only will our team treat your existing conditions, we strive to prevent pain and illness from reoccurring.  We strive to help you improve your quality of life, achieve our wellness goals, and heal your body to live your best life possible.

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a natural form of health care that uses non-invasive, safe and effective spinal adjustments to correct misalignments in the spinal column (your backbone). Each individual backbone is known as a vertebra. There are 33 individual interlocking vertebra in the human spine.

Misalignments in the spine cause interference in a persons nervous system, which effects the way your body functions and adapts to its environment. Your nervous system consists of your brain, spinal cord, and nerves. This master-control system is largely dependent on correct positioning of your spinal column for protection and proper motion.¹ Gray’s Anatomy, the most widely used medical textbook in the world, states that every organ system and function of the human body is under direct control of the nervous system.

Chiropractic is concerned with the preservation and health status of your spine and nervous system.

What Should You Expect on Your First Visit With Us?

We recommend that you set aside an hour to ninety minutes for your first visit. This will provide you with plenty of time to discuss your condition with one of our doctors. Afterwards a thorough examination will be performed which will include a chiropractic exam, an orthopedic exam, a range of motion exam, and possibly a neurological exam. X-Rays may or may not be taken depending upon the exam findings. We do have X-Ray facilities on the premises. If we feel that further diagnostic testing is necessary, we are able to order diagnostic tests such as MRI’s, CT Scans, X-Rays, and blood work at a facility of your choice. If we feel we are not able to help you and that you would be better served by a different health care practitioner, we will make the proper referral. If we believe that you are a good candidate for care in the office, we will explain the findings of our exam plus any diagnostic testing, what the treatment will be, how long it will take, and what to expect. One of our main goals is to provide a healthy relationship between the doctor and patient and we encourage our patients to ask questions so that they more fully understand their care plan and goals.
